Guernica – ein Film über den Tanz gegen das Vergessen

Der Tanz widmet sich dem Gedächtnis eines Staatsverbrechens, welches noch

nicht so lange her ist: die Bombardierung des baskischen Städtchens

GUERNICA.

Luftkriege sind immer noch ein beliebtes Instrument staatlicher

Bodenhaltung.

Wir begannen um 10:00 am Krieger/Deserteurs- Denkmal am Dammtor, und

bewegten uns von dort zum Jungfernstieg.

This is a choreography to remenber an air-raid crime on the

bask town GUERNICA. Air raid crimes are still a tool to keep people

down. The dance begins with a march through the city of Hamburg.

On some places the group stopped and started to dance in the streets.

They carried big signs with names of bombed towns. Police escorted

these dancers until they reached the Hamburg town hall place.

After another dance movement musicians gave a concert. It seems to me

that the town hall is slanting. This is because of the perspective of my camera.
