James Brown in Prison, and Tony Baxter released this living on the scene like a sex machine. His Signature: Screaming Baxter.
Anyway, the band has it's riff, and you can release Screaming Baxter on this Single side B. A playback without voice. I don't
hear both sides too often, but it reminds me on my time in the Dedan Kimathi Soul Show, where I played guitar in Istanbul.
Some years later I played my Disco style in the Johnny Hoggins - Lee Davies Group, with Leroy Grant on drums. Johnny went back
to his Caribbean island St.Vincent, where people now want back their land rights and protection of nature. Leroy was from
St.Lucia, without storm the Caribbean is really great. After working in these groups I want them with me in the studio, but
my production company POLYDOR did not accept them. They had other ideas how music from Germany must sound and sell: stupid
enough anyway, so they broke my contract, and just as Betty said: What to do? Play with Scooby-Doo.
